Israel. The most famous food for this festival is Ashure.
Food - Ashure
This dessert is very common in South Asia. They use their own type of flour which is called “Suji” which is
semolina. During this holiday, you are supposed to praise God. By praising, you have offered him food and
your hours. And in these countries, we offer veg food because, on this day, warfare is forbidden. Therefore
no animals should be harmed,
This dessert mainly to be honest is just an Afghan variation of pudding. This pudding is quite different from
normal pudding in procedure and ingredients. First, they fry ghee (Clarified butter that originated in the Indus
valley ) Next, they add flour into the fried ghee, mix in semolina(coarse flour made from durum wheat(has
high protein content relative to normal wheat), sugar syrup, and cardamom nutmeg powder (spice often
applied in Indian dessert) Then you cool it and it is completed.
